The pagepeel doesn't work on my server
Let's go the easy way first:
Open the local file index.html and look how the PageEar is included. To include the PageEar into you webpage, open the the footer template file of you webpage and copy & paste the PageEar lines into the footer file before body-tag ends. Now change the path of the script calls to the path of you server (e.g. from /pageear.js to /pageear/pageear.js)
Open your webpage in a browser and I hope it is working.
- Download the PageEar zip-package
- Unzip it on your local harddrive into a empty directory
- (Do not try start the index.html, it couldn't work.
- Connect to your server and create a empty directory in your webroot (e.g. name it pageear)
- Upload all files from you local directory to you new directory on the server
- Open you browser and enter the url of your webpage and add the new created directoryname (www.mywebsite.com/pageear)
- Now you should see the working pagepeel in the top right corner.
